In ‘Buenos Aires’, Eva Calderone offers an intimate and touching exploration of her own sexuality.

It's a 15 minute erotic tale, where she shares a piece of her inner world with the audience. It tells the story of a very hot summer in Buenos Aires. Four months of sun, heat, sweat, little clothes, a world of fantasies and forbidden encounters that never materialized.

A summer full of desire: "I had a lot of time, while warming myself under the sun, to think, to imagine, to create parallel realities. I want to tell you those stories, I want to share with you my imaginary, I want to seduce you. I want to warm you up. I want to feed your imagination, I want to inspire your next fantasies."

This is a political act, an act of resistance, of insistence, of affirmation. It's Eva's way to create a new reality, in which pleasure is not judged, it’s not labeled, but instead, it’s just absorbed in all its complexity.

Eva Calderone was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she lived until the age of 29. Working in artistic collectives, creating not only artistic political shows, but also and most importantly, creating a safe space, where everyone could be how they wanted to be.

Five years ago she migrated to Belgium to start a personal quest, circling around one question: who am I without all of that which is known and familiar to me?

Ever since, she’s been discovering new layers of her personality and sexuality. She has sterilized herself. And she started to work as a sex worker: she’s done porn, erotic massages, she has stripped, did some escorting and now she’s in the online business. For some years now, she’s been finetuning how to integrate her sexuality with her artistic expression.
